Sometimes things just go sideways.

You’re hoping, expecting them to be straight and true and well, you get “bent”, instead. It’s the luck of the draw. It’s one of life’s maxims.

I’ve written about it before. It certainly is worth repeated commentary; after all, it’s part of the everyday human experience.

Sometimes bolts get bent,

Sometimes egos,

Sometimes schedules,

Sometimes careers,

Sometimes relationships,

Sometimes plans.

But whatever the situation, it’s how we respond that matters most.

It’s ok to get bent; just don’t stay that way.
