What are your favorite brands and why?

I don’t think of myself as much of brand guy. At least not in the sense of being / accepting brands as having an influence on who I am in the world … in fact most all my life I’ve tried to stay clear of that validation, as it were…

But I do realize that I strive for things that have quality to them, that have value to them, that will last … and so if that’s the brand image, and it’s something I need or want, and I can afford it … well, I’m in for that, like,

Toyota, LL Bean, Land’s End …

There you go, my top three, associated with vehicles and clothes, two categories I think quality and value go a long way … that’s my hot take,
