The Queen is dead, long live The Queen!

Elizabeth Alexandra Mary Windsor. 1926-2022. 96 years old. A 70 year reign over England and its Commonwealth.

A human symbol of stability made forth by a sense of duty and responsibility.

She was the first Royal to serve in the military.

She said early on when still a young woman and princess, this which typified her attitude and leadership,

“If we all go forward together with an unwavering faith, a high courage, and a quiet heart,” Elizabeth said, “we shall be able to make of this ancient commonwealth, which we all love so dearly, an even grander thing.”

Rest In Peace, dear lady.
